Toowoomba Region Economic Development Vision 2038: In 2038 the Toowoomba region has an internationally competitive, vibrant, diverse and inclusive economy that provides opportunities for employment, entrepreneurship and investment that enhance the region’s lifestyle and environment.

• Provides a framework to address the Toowoomba region’s economic development issues, challenges and opportunities for growth;
• Identifies collaborative partnerships between Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC), Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE), the Queensland Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure & Planning (DSDMIP), Regional Development Australia Darling Downs and South West (RDA DDSW), Chambers of Commerce, business & industry and the communities of the region on matters concerning regional economic development; and
• Provides an informed, clear, actionable and achievable ‘road map’ for facilitating and promoting economic development in the Toowoomba Region over a five year period to 2023.
